I created Codebox for one reason. Simply for the fact that about 70% of my hard work, time and effort goes in to creating reams of nonsensical characters that never see the light of day. Showing off design ability is rather straight-forward, showing off code is a different story, and is probably why many of my projects seem to appear design heavy. The actual fact of the matter is that I am coding far more than anything else, and over the years I have become quite proud of my ability to realise any project - no matter the language or discipline - to specifications and at a high quality of code architecture and clarity.
All I would add to the above is that through-out this site you find my personal code, old and new, probably ranging from about 2004 till now. I have not included any professional code as this would undermine my previous clients, this is also the reason for the low number of explanatory comments. My professional code is always much more highly described as I would be the first to complain when coming across illegible code.
